There's no question that new entrants into the workforce are the subjects of the remote work experiment.
Most management (myself included) who are deciding that their company should work remotely consist of people who had an immersive, in-office education at their first job. We are basing the remote vs in-office decision on whether people like us are able to work remotely productively.
There is so much that we senior folks take for granted that "green" employees are not going to know/have. Post-pandemic, many young people will never get the immersion experience we benefitted from.
I hope it turns out that entering the workforce with a remote job is equivalent, but I am skeptical.
