Does automatic stock dividend reinvestment make sense anymore?

Previously the argument was that dividend reinvestment is a great way to invest commission-free.

But with commission-free trading on many platforms, what’s the argument for automatic dividend reinvestment now?

Do you do use it? If so, what benefits do you see with it?
